The world has taken a break from monitoring the ongoing genocide in Gaza. It seems that they truly believe the job is done. I mean why not?! After All, main stream media reports have all agreed and claimed that the genocide is behind us, as the cessation of hostilities agreement between the israeli occupation, and the Palestinian resistance, entered implementation phase.
Moreover, those main stream media propagandist platforms —because let’s agree, they rarely post anything factual anymore— insinuate that famine has been averted as they allege that the israeli occupation forces are allowing humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.
This is the most diabolical plan set forth by ZioNazis, whereby they use complicit internationally-renowned media outlets to flood social media and other platforms with news that there is no more famine in Gaza.
In Fact, the media has shifted its attention now towards Sudan, another war-torn, famine-strained, and genocide-chocked Arab country in the MENA region.
Suddenly, all of the media outlets have discovered Sudan, two years since the resumption of hostilities between the National Army and the Rapid Support Forces and genocide there. Sadly, it is always the innocent who pay the ultimate price.
But, notwithstanding that both countries are suffering, it is worth noting the following:
The israeli Occupation, which continues to implement a total land/air/maritime siege on Gaza, has only allowed 24% of the intended aid trucks into Gaza.
Most of the 24% of aid trucks did not have edible food on board, and some of the food that was allowed into Gaza was already expired or has gone rotten.
Most of the edible food that was allowed in was highly rich in carbohydrates, low on protein, according to accredited reporters from inside Gaza like Samer Zaneen, as the israeli occupation forces continue to be selective over that they allow to enter the Gaza Strip.
Not all the food that was allowed into Gaza was humanitarian aid… Accredited journalists inside Gaza, whom we spoke with, including Mr. Zaneen, Wael Halabi, and Alaa Shakshak, pointed out that more than half of the trucks that were allowed into Gaza, belonged to merchants. If anyone understands the situation, they will know that it means the food that will be available in the markets is extremely expensive at a time when nearly 1% of the population can afford such steep prices.
Until today, the israeli occupation maintains a calorie-count diet whereby the Palestinians get nearly 900 calories/meal… But there is a catch.
The meals are NOT diversified. In 90% of the cases the meals do not contain any protein, and in most cases the meals have no vegetables.
We repeat, based on reporters from the ground in Gaza, most of the aid that got in was rich in carbs, low in protein, and according to doctors we had been in contact with throughout the past two years, this only leads to a body that is unable to rejuvenate and repair itself or enjoy a growth mechanism.
Over time, this leads to malnutrition symptoms develop despite an adequate calorie intake, which is known as "caloric sufficiency with nutrient deficiency", or hidden hunger.
Thus, this carb-rich calorie count for meals that poor in proteins only mean that the Palestinians are consuming empty energy blocks (calories) in vain. This leads to:
* In the Short-Term (Weeks to Months):
Muscle breakdown: The body starts breaking down muscle tissue to get amino acids it needs for survival.
Fatigue and weakness: Lack of protein leads to poor muscle repair, weakness, and lethargy.
Hair loss, brittle nails, dry skin: Structural proteins like keratin suffer.
* In the Medium-Term (Months to a Year):
Immune system collapse: Antibodies are proteins; without them, infections become frequent.
Edema (swelling): Lack of protein in the blood causes fluid imbalance (condition called kwashiorkor).
Slow wound healing: Collagen synthesis is impaired.
Mental and cognitive decline: Neurotransmitters (many made from amino acids) decrease.
* In the Long-Term (1–2 Years):
Severe muscle wasting
Organ failure (especially liver and kidneys)
Kwashiorkor or marasmus — forms of severe protein-energy malnutrition
Death — if not corrected, prolonged protein deficiency can eventually be fatal
And this is what we have been witnessing in Gaza....
NEEDLESS TO SAY THE CALORIE COUNT was a system that the israeli occupation had imposed on Gaza since 2008 to the extent that by 2016 half the population in Gaza was anemic as per UN-WHO/ICRC reports.
In short, a 900-calorie/ meal/3 times a day, for 2 years that is rich in carbs and low on protein and not diversified (like we are seeing in Gaza) lead to:
- severe malnourishment
muscle loss.
Organ damage/ immune malfunction
And a serious risk of permanent disability or death
SIDE NOTE: Over the past two years, the israeli occupation enabled israeli-backed Palestinian gangs (like Abu Shabab gang) to steal hundreds of trucks of aid that the israeli occupation forces had allowed in at the time… Or simply bombed the aid once the food/flour bags reached the warehouses. Even worse, bombed starving civilian Palestinians who had gathered ate rendezvous points to get flour bags from aid trucks… More than 9 Flour massacres were committed in 2024 at the hand of the israeli occupation forces, with nearly 700 Palestinians killed.
Also, over the course of the past two years, the israeli occupation, in collaboration with greedy merchants inside Gaza stored food trucks then hiked the prices after creating periods of shortages to the extent that the Palestinians were unable to buy any food. In that sense, the israeli occupation, got food trucks in to Gaza to sell them and NOT as aid, but registered them as aid.
