To the untrained eye, Hamas attacked Gaza's enclave settlements. Israel responded with a disproportional measure breaching war rules and committing war crimes.

To those who analyze geopolitics, Hamas could have been lured into this mass-scale attack on the Gaza enclave settlements so that Israel can retaliate and push out the Palestinians, once and for all from Gaza toward Egypt's Sinai, then the israeli occupation can take over the whole of the Palestinian coastline, with all that it entails including the control of the energy resources under Gaza's seabed. But to those who cover macroeconomics, and are political economists, we know well that no war happens without an economic/financial factor behind it.

From Arms cartels, to military expansions to ensure the control of new resources, the situation becomes clearer as the lines intersect.
