Debunking the Narrative: Lebanon vs Greater israel
The overall rule of the Jewish kingdoms in parts of Palestine did not exceed 300 years (three centuries), and even at the height of their expansion and power, during the reign of the Prophet-King Solomon, they did not control all of Palestine.
According to the holy books of Judaism and Christianity, and taking into account the history of the Phoenicians in Lebanon, Hiram, the King of Tyre, was a friend of the Prophet-King David, the father of the Prophet-King Solomon, and also a friend of King Solomon himself.
He was the one who provided them with cedar wood from Lebanon to build their palaces, and this is mentioned in their scriptures.
According to the Old Testament accounts in the Book of 1 Chronicles, King David received building materials and skilled workers from Hiram, the King of Tyre, to build his palace in Jerusalem—indicating a cooperative relationship between them.
This friendship continued to include the Prophet-King Solomon, David’s successor, as it is said that Solomon requested the same assistance from Hiram to build the Temple.
Tyre, with its geography (which extends beyond today’s Blue Line), was entirely independent from the kingdom of the Prophet Solomon, which was, as claimed, the greatest of the Jewish kingdoms that ruled parts of Palestine.
Therefore, at the peak of the Jewish kingdoms' expansion in Palestine, Lebanon was not part of these kingdoms.
So on what basis do modern Zionists claim that Lebanon is part of "Greater Israel"?
